Project

The NASA Space Apps Challenge is a NASA-led global hackathon that inspires local communities to come together, think intensely, and create solutions to important problems both here on Earth and in space. For the Berlin branch of the hackathon we created a unique art direction to use across social media content and collateral for the event.

Concept

Taking imagery from Space, the planets, Earth and it's eco-systems we applied a modern and bold design style to the NASA Space Apps system. Utilizing wide, large fonts with experimental type layouts and a creative, colorful photo treatments, we created a look inspired by personality and counter-culture spirit of Berlin.
